This is a substantial educational training centre located at Cookstown Industrial Estate, Tallaght, which replaced the original and dilapidated FAS training facility. The completed development comprises accommodation extending to c. 8,820m2. The brief included the creation of facilities to accommodate new training functions and to rationalise existing operations. The development was designed to ensure that the existing centre remained fully operational during the works. Once complete, the existing centre was decanted, demolished and replaced with car parking and landscaping works. The new facility designed by MOLA Architecture operates around a central street creating a campus environment. The facility provides both trade and class room / lecture room facilities in a modern educational environment.
